The fall Junior Crimson Girls Dance Team workshops will begin 5-7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Aug. 22 and 24, in Smith 115.
The workshops are mandatory and the cost is $40. Regular practices begin Sept. 9 and continue every Friday (except Nov. 25) through Dec. 2 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Smith 115.
The Jr. Crimson Girls Dance Team is open to girls ages 5-14. The program includes instruction on dance technique, dance choreography, as well as participation in half-time performances at Cougar sporting events, including volleyball, Sept. 30; football, Oct. 15 and basketball games (TBA).
The monthly fee for the program is $40. Team uniforms and pom poms are required (approximately $80). Purchase of new uniforms for 2011-12 will not be required. For more information go to www.athletics.wsu.edu/spiritsquad.
