Spillman Farm Field Day, Thursday, July 7

Please join us at the Spillman Agronomy Farm field day, featuring agriculture research: Meeting the Grand Challenges, on Thursday, July 7. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., the tour begins at 8 a.m.

Researchers will make presentations on advances in wheat, barley, dry pea, lentil and chickpea breeding, genetics, and pathology. A complimentary lunch program will follow the morning tours. Speakers will include Dr. Dan Bernardo, Dean, College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences and a representative of the Washington Grain Commission will provide an update. Additionally, recently retired WSU barley breeder, Dr. Steve Ullrich, will be recognized.

WA and ID pesticide credits and Certified Crop Advisor CEU applications are pending.

The farm is located at 1452 Johnson Road, Pullman.
