The zzusis team anticipates reaching yet another milestone in the zzusis Project and plans for the Campus Community module to be launched or ‘go live’ on July 6.
Campus Community, also known as Bio Demo Data, is a core information module where all person and external organization records are created and stored, and will be accessed via the zzusis Portal.
The Campus Community module go live is the culmination of many months’ worth of work on the zzusis Project which started in October 2010.
The preparation for the conversion from AIS to Campus Community began on June 23 when many operational processes were initiated.
On Friday, July 1 at 3:00 pm, as part of the conversion process, the University Name Address File Administrative Information Systems (UNAF AIS) screens will become “read-only” access.
On Wednesday, July 6 at 7:00 am, Campus Community will go live and be available for individuals to use.
Office training leads are encouraged to actively train their respective office staff, on how to create and update person records in zzusis.
A ‘train the trainer’ approach is being utilized for flexibility. Online training is available for individuals that haven’t had training or that might want a refresher within the zzusis Portal.
To access the Campus Community training login to zzusis.wsu.edu, under Main Menu click on “zzusis Training” and then click on “Campus Community” which will open a new browser window with the online training. From this location you can watch a demonstration, practice the task or print the instructions.
The Campus Community module is the second go live for the zzusis project, following the successful launch of the zzusis Portal on March 28. The Admissions module is the next module to go live later this summer.
