Canada Mail Service Restored

Back-To-Work legislation was passed by the Canadian government Sunday night directing Canada Post workers back to work. Effective June 28, 2011 Canada Post will accept inbound international mail.

Mail in the network since the lockout began is now being released and transported into Canada. Due to the large volumes of mail held by countries around the world during the lockout, customers may experience slightly longer transit times.

Customers wishing to avoid delays should use Global Express Guaranteed. This premium service, designed for critical time sensitive items, begins at $35.50 for a half ounce letter and allows packages up to 70 pounds. Please contact Mailing Services at 335-2104 for assistance with your Canadian mailings.
