Zzusis Campus Community module to go live July 6

PULLMAN, Wash. – The zzusis Campus Community module – a core information computer module for creating and storing information – will be launched July 6.

Campus Community, also known as Bio Demo Data, will be accessed via the zzusis portal.

Activation of the module will mark the culmination of many months’ work on the zzusis project, which started in October 2010.

At 3 p.m. Friday, July 1, as part of the conversion process, the University Name Address File Administrative Information Systems (UNAF AIS) screens will become “read-only” access.

At 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, Campus Community will go live and be available for individuals to use.

Office training leads are encouraged to actively train their office staff on how to create and update person records in zzusis.

A “train the trainer” approach is being utilized for flexibility. Online training is available for individuals who haven’t had training or who might want a refresher within the zzusis portal.

To access the Campus Community training, log in to http://zzusis.wsu.edu. Under Main Menu click on “zzusis Training” and then click on “Campus Community,” which will open a new browser window. From this location you can watch a demonstration, practice a task or print instructions.

The Campus Community module is the second to go live for the zzusis project, following the successful launch of the zzusis portal on March 28. The Admissions module will be the next to go live later this summer.
