Zzusis Campus Community training the trainers

PULLMAN — The zzusis Campus Community module is set to go-live in late June at Washington State University, and training, which has been prioritized for staff that work with TEMPS/PERMS, is scheduled for June 8, 9 and 10 in Pullman. 
 
It is recommended that at least one person per office attend an initial training session.  Additional sessions will be scheduled over the next several weeks. 
 
Training sessions will use a ‘train-the-trainer’ approach in in a hands-on classroom environment. Participants will in turn train and distribute information to others in their offices/units.
 
A training session specifically for urban campus users is scheduled for 1-5 p.m.  Wednesday, June 15. Additional details will be forthcoming on this session.
 
Sign up, multiple sessions
To sign up for a training session through WSU Skillport visit the zzusis site and follow the instructions. Please review the information carefully as there are three locations for the training.
 
  • June 8 – 8:00 am – Noon OR 1:00 – 5:00 pm
  • June 9 – 8:00 am – Noon OR 1:00 – 5:00 pm
  • June 10 – 8:00 am – Noon
Locations will be CUE rm 302, Thompson Hall room 1 and Troy Hall room 207.
 
Recorded
The in-class training session will be recorded and made available to a wider audience as a training support tool.  More information will follow.
 
A memo regarding access to applications is being sent to vice presidents, chancellors and deans. Those administrators are being asked to assist in identifying and approving the appropriate level of access for their staff on the new system.
 
Campus Community, also known as Bio Demo Data, is a core information module where all person and external organization records are created and stored, and will be accessed via the zzusis Portal. For questions on this training please send an email to the zzusis Training Team at core.apps@wsu.edu.
