IACUC brownbag session on May 27, 2011

IACUC recently added requirements for Post-Approval Review of all animal use protocols and for periodic (every 5 years) ‘re-training’ of Principal Investigators with animal protocols about animal use policies at WSU. IACUC will host a brownbag session to discuss the rationale and specifics of these new requirements and to solicit participants’ suggestions for their implementation and improvement.

IACUC will present a brief summary of the new requirements of the Post-Approval Review program and describe how the program will be implemented, and then open up the session for questions, comments, and discussion. IACUC encourages students, staff, research scholars, faculty, facility managers, and all personnel involved in animal care and use to attend the event.
