WSU Vancouver hosts hiring event for veterans

VANCOUVER, Wash. – More than 20 employers will participate in a free job fair to recruit military veteran employees at Washington State University Vancouver 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, May 19, in the Firstenburg Student Commons.
 
Jobs for Vets will include recruitment for healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunication, warehouse, government and construction positions.
 
Participants are asked to bring multiple copies of their résumé, be prepared to follow up with recruiters by applying online or signing up for testing, and dress for an interview.
