The National Weather Service is reporting the potential for
strong thunderstorms
over most of the region Saturday.

A cold front will move into the Pacific Northwest, bringing with it moisture and instability.

This combination of moisture and instability will produce the potential for strong thunderstorms on Saturday. Heavy rains, large hail, and potentially damaging winds or a combination of the three may accompany these strong thunderstorms, with the greatest concern for heaviest storm activity on Saturday afternoon. Localized flooding may also develop.
