Zzusis project April newsletter available online

The April issue of the zzusis project newsletter is available at http://sis.wsu.edu/docs/zzusisNewsletterVol3.pdf. It contains information on the zzusis portal launch, an employee spotlight on Jennifer Steffen and other project information.

The zzusis project will be implemented in phases; the first phase or module, successfully implemented on March 28, was the zzusis portal replacing myWSU for students, faculty and staff.

The portal is where students register, pay fees, check grades and Cougar Card balances, etc., and where faculty and staff check payroll and benefit information as well as general university information.

The portal provides easier navigation, allows for individual customization and will continue to evolve with implementation of each zzusis module.

Feedback on the zzusis portal continues to be encouraged and collected from students, faculty and staff. To submit feedback click the “Feedback” link at the bottom of the portal page.

The next zzusis modules to be implemented will be bio/demo data, also known as campus community, in June, and admissions in July.

The zzusis project formerly was known as the student information system (SIS) project. For information on the zzusis project, visit http://sis.wsu.edu.
