‘Culture Corner: Meet Your Global Community’ open to all

PULLMAN – A discussion about WSU’s global community will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 18, in CUB L45.
 
Faculty, staff and students are invited to hear presentations by international students about their countries and cultures. Kelsey Hawthorne from the International Center and Hannah Nevitt from the Education Abroad office will discuss:
 
* How to build your awareness of global issues,
* Why it is important to connect with WSU’s global community, and
* The challenges to building cultural awareness.
 
Activities and a reflection session will follow.
 
The event is sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement and the International Student Center. CCE students can earn two hours of reflection time if they sign up on SLPro. To learn more, contact cce@wsu.edu or 335-7708.
