Small business enterprises to get help through WSU

KENNEWICK – Small to medium business enterprises looking to generate sales to new markets are invited to a New-To-Export Seminar offered by the WSU Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the International Trade Alliance (ITA) 8 a.m.-5 p.m. April 6-8 at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center, Bechtel Board Room, 7130 W Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

The program will provide enterprises with primary information and resources needed to understand exporting products or services.
The seminar will cover how to find an international market; advertise and sell to a different culture; finance and make a profit; obtain certifications; learn about regulations and intellectual property issues; and get help through the process.

The program is designed for existing small to medium business enterprises primed to sell to a new market. SBDC reserves the right to give priority to registrants who meet these criteria.
Enterprises will be matched with a mentor from a successful exporting company and will be introduced to the export services of the SBDC at no additional cost.
U.S. Bank has provided financial support for the seminar. There will be no cost to attendees; however, pre-registration is required. Register online at http://wsbdc.org/training-calendar. The three-day program includes lunch and refreshments.
