Prof to appear on Lifetime TV program for women

PULLMAN – Bill Maynard, adjunct professor in hospitality business management in the College of Business, will appear on the Lifetime TV program “The Balancing Act” at 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 6.
 
He will talk about his book, “You Matter,” which encourages readers to face challenges and forge ahead to achieve their best life.
 
“You Matter” is based on the popular college course Maynard has taught at WSU for 15 years, “Leading and Living,” as well as experiences gained during the time he spent as CEO of The Effectiveness Institute, a leading business and leadership development consulting company.
 
He discovered that people who become better leaders of themselves in their own lives are more likely to become better partners in their relationships and leaders in their careers.
 
Maynard earned his doctorate in education and business administration from the University of Washington.
 
“The Balancing Act” is a morning show for and about women. It seeks to inspire and empower with entertaining and educational segments, placing women in the best position to achieve success in every area of their lives.
