Business center helps students make connections

PULLMAN – Company recruiters and professionals will be on hand at Career Networking Night 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, in the CUB ballroom. This is the ninth career fair sponsored by the Carson Center for Professional Development, within the College of Business, to help students learn about jobs and internships.

The event is targeted toward business students and is open only to students with a business major or minor.
 
WSU students will meet recruiters before the campuswide Career Expo on Feb. 8 at Beasley coliseum. The first 200 students will receive a complimentary WSU College of Business professional business card holder.
 
Students interested in attending can visit the Carson Center in Todd 101 to receive a guidebook, which offers career tips and steps to prepare for career fair events.
 
The Scott and Linda Carson Center for Professional Development provides business and engineering students with skills and knowledge necessary to attain personal and professional success. The center offers resume and cover letter critiques, mock interviews, career counseling, “Land a Job” workshops, and networking opportunities with employers.
