What are university learning requirements? And how are they different from the current General Education structure?
The General Education Committee is inviting feedback from the WSU community on a “University Learning Requirements Proposal” that would revamp the core curriculum for all undergraduates, starting as soon as fall 2012.
Introduced by Tom Tripp, GEC chair, in an html e-mail to faculty Sept. 15, the proposal, numerous supporting documents and a timeline are posted online at http://universitycollege.wsu.edu/genedrevise/index.html, along with a sub-section at http://universitycollege.wsu.edu/genedrevise/ULRproposalfall2010/.
