President to give State of the University Address

PULLMAN – President Elson S. Floyd will give his annual State of the University Address 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, in Bryan Hall Theatre. Faculty, staff, students and friends are invited to attend the presentation or to follow the speech via videostreaming.
 
Those who plan to attend in person are asked to RSVP at http://

If they can’t attend in person, employees are encouraged to view the presentation at a group viewing location, rather than via a personal webstream delivered to individual computer workstations, to avoid over utilizing campus networks. Group viewing locations are:
  • WSU Spokane:  Spokane Academic Center,
    Room 20
  • WSU Tri-Cities:  West Building, Room 230
  • WSU Vancouver:  Vancouver Administration Building, Room 236
  • WSU West:  Large conference room
The address also will be available on Cable Channel 8 in the Pullman area. 
The president will discuss university accomplishments, the economic forecast, budgeting, funding, reorganization efforts and his vision for the future.
