WSU offers on-campus lodging at Gannon Hall

PULLMAN – Beginning Sept. 1, visiting Cougar family members, alumni, and friends will once again be able to find on-campus accommodations by purchasing a WSU Cougar Campus Weekend package.

The package provides two nights of lodging for two at Gannon Hall on the Pullman campus, two mornings of morning breakfast for two at the Southside Café, two weekend passes to the Student Recreation Center, and a weekend campus parking pass.

The packages will help accommodate visitors coming to campus to see students or colleagues, attend athletic or entertainment events, play golf at Palouse Ridge Golf Club, etc.

Terry Boston, WSU senior executive director of administrative services, said the base cost of the campus weekend package is $150 plus tax and reservations are available online beginning this week at hotel.wsu.edu. The university expects to continue to offer the packages throughout the coming school year.

We have been able to offer residence hall rooms for rent to nonstudents in the past, but not since about 2006,” said Boston. “These are dormitory-style accommodations, but they’re conveniently located right here on campus, and ideally suited to weekend visitors.”

Cougar Campus Weekend package reservations can be made online at hotel.wsu.edu/reservations.
