48th Annual Cougar Sports Banquet and auction

PULLMAN – The annual Cougar Sports Banquet and Auction featuring WSU Athletic Director Bill Moos and former WSU football standout Rueben Mayes is set for Aug. 19 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort and Convention Center.
 
Cougar head coaches and other former standout WSU student-athletes will also be at the event. Mayes played for WSU during the 1982-85 seasons and went on to a professional football career with the New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
 
All proceeds will support WSU student-athlete scholarships. Tickets are $75 per person if purchased before Aug. 10 for members of the WSU Athletic Foundation and WSU alumni age 30 and younger. Tickets are $85 per person for non-Athletic Foundation members and all registrations after Aug. 10.
