Theatre and dance presents ‘Glass Menagerie’

PULLMAN – WSU’s Department of Theatre and Dance will present “The Glass Menagerie” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in Daggy Hall’s Jones Theatre.
The play is directed by instructor Benjamin Gonzales. Cast members include senior David Bennett, sophomore Dani Dodge, junior Malinda Childers and University of Idaho graduate student Quinn Hatch.

 “The Glass Menagerie” by Tennesee Williams is the story of Tom Wingfield, a young man who feels trapped by his family that rely on him for survival. The play takes place in St.Louis in 1937 and demonstrates the burden of family obligations.
“The Glass Menagerie” will be in production from Jan. 28 to Jan. 30, and Feb. 4 to Feb. 6.
Tickets for the show can be reserved by email at reservations@wsu.edu or by calling the theater box office at 509-335-7236. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the theater box office, located on the main floor of Daggy Hall. The box office is open from 3-5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday the week of the performance as well as 6:30 p.m. the night of the performance. Only cash and checks are accepted.
 No flash photography is permitted during the performances.
