SBDC offers Profit Mastery Seminar

SPOKANE – WSU’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a Profit Mastery Seminar from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, through Thursday, Oct. 1.
 
The seminar will be at the Spokane SBDC in the Sirti building at 665 N. Riverpoint Blvd., Suite 201. The cost is $395 which includes a detailed manual, profit wheel and the case studies used in class. A discount is available for multiple registrations from the same company. This seminar will offer practical tools for control, survival and the success of your business. Business owners, key managers, entrepreneurs, business advisors, CPAs (CEU credits are available) and others whose decisions have an impact on your company’s financial performance should attend.
The workshop will cover overcoming common business problems, understanding your financial position, tools to take active control, effective pricing decisions, evaluating cost patterns, leveraging financial resources and planning for transition. Participants will understand the process to evaluate the performance of a business and a strategy to implement change as well as analyze actual business problems and find useful solutions.
 
The instructor, Terry Chambers, is a certified Profit Mastery facilitator. He is the Washington SBDC training director and a certified business advisor and economic development finance professional. Chambers has a demonstrated commitment to helping businesses grow. He has been involved in working with companies, entrepreneurs and economic development organizations in Washington State for more than 20 years.
Transportation note
Visitors to campus are encouraged to use public transit – STA Route 29 serves Riverpoint.  Bike racks are located by every building, and the Centennial Trail provides pedestrian/bike access. Drivers should use the meters in the green parking lots or park in the Pay and Display lot (cash only) located just off of Spokane Falls Boulevard to the west of the South Campus Facility at 412 E. Spokane Falls Blvd. One-hour parking on city streets is also available.
