Employees encouraged to provide feedback

President Elson S. Floyd, in an open online letter, encouraged faculty and staff to review the preliminary budget plan details and provide feedback.

He also addressed three budget-related issues that have been circulating in the media, regarding:

A minimum 90-day notice to all eligible employees whose jobs will be eliminated due to the budget cuts

Providing students, whose major programs might ultimately be eliminated, with a reasonable time frame (at present approximately two years) in which to earn their degree in that major.

No WSU Extension county offices located throughout the state will be eliminated in the preliminary budget cut plan
