PULLMAN – The WSU Neuroscience Program is sponsoring The Pullman Brain Bee (PBB), Saturday at 10 a.m., May 2, in the CUE.
The Brain Bee is a live question-and-answer competition for individual high school students which will occur in a format much like a spelling bee. The PBB is associated with Brain Awareness Week and modeled after the International Brain Bee where young men and women from all over North America compete to determine who is the “best brain” on such topics as intelligence, memory, emotions, sensations, movement, stress, aging, sleep, addiction, Alzheimer’s, and stroke.
The PBB is designed to challenge exceptional young adults about Neurology facts and enhance their educational coursework.
Entry is free and study materials are available on the Society for Neuroscience website – Brain Facts pdf file. See Ms. Wissner or Mrs. Eareckson for registration forms or more information.
