Spokane will host the next College of Business Power Breakfast, which will feature guest speaker Ted Baseler, president and CEO of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and WSU regent.
The breakfast will be 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday, April 16, in the Marie Antoinette ballroom of the Davenport Hotel. Tickets cost $25 and reservations are due by April 10 ONLINE

In its sixth year, the breakfast speaker series is intended to inform, inspire and engage WSU alumni and regional business leaders on topics of entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership.
Baseler began his career at Ste. Michelle in 1984 as director of marketing and was offered ever-increasing levels of responsibility. He became chief operating officer before being named president and CEO in 2001. He was named one of the top marketing professionals in the country by Advertising Age.
Baseler has been a leader in the Washington wine industry for 25 years. He has served as chairman of the Washington Wine Commission, chairman of the Napa-based Wine Market Council and director of the Washington Wine Institute.
He recently was reappointed by Gov. Christine Gregoire to the Board of Regents of Washington State University, and has served on the Washington Business Roundtable and the boards of Children’s Hospital and Patrons of Northwest Arts.
His appearance at the breakfast is sponsored by the WSU Alumni Association and Wine by Cougars.
