Economy halts vice provost search

The Provost’s Office will suspend the search for vice provost for WSU International Programs pending better clarification of the economic situation.
Vice Provost Lance LeLoup previously announced that he would return to the faculty in August 2009. After his announcement, the provost appointed a committee that has been conducting a search since September 2008.
WSU is in the process of exploring budget-reduction scenarios at the request of the state Legislature.

Provost Warwick Bayly thanks Linda Fox, committee chair and associate vice president and dean of WSU Extension, as well as search committee members:

Carol Allen, clinical associate professor, College of Nursing
