Jodi Tripp photos on display

VANCOUVER – Photographer Jodi Tripp will be exhibiting her photographs in the Administration gallery from Jan. 12 to Feb. 13.

This is Tripp’s third exhibit at WSU Vancouver; she has become a local favorite. Tripp’s November 2007 exhibit at WSU Vancouver received a great deal of attention for her “Barns of Clark County” series. In her upcoming exhibit Tripp will be displaying some new additions to the ‘Barns’ series as well other new works.

Tripp’s interest in photography began at a young age, and she has worked as a professional photographer in different settings including events and portraitures. Her work has been received successfully in a variety of photography competitions throughout the Northwest and California and her images are displayed on the “SayWA” tourism campaign Web site.

Tripp is a past employee of WSU Vancouver, who maintains strong connections to the campus. She produces and displays her colorful and creative digital art and local landscapes at area art shows, and is represented by the Aurora Gallery, 1001 Main St., Vancouver.
