WSU second in the Pac-10 fitness challenge

PULLMAN – WSU came in second in the Pac-10 fitness challenge just short of first place’s Stanford.

Stanford surpassed WSU at 9:20 p.m. Friday night by logging 592,101 weighted minutes (661,566 total minutes). WSU had 564,167 weighted minutes (733,638 total minutes) of activity logged. WSU had most minutes in student participation, but WSU’s faculty and staff fell short of Stanford’s more active faculty and staff.

The University recreation staff would like to thank the 3,974 registered participants in the challenge. WSU had more total participants than any other university in the Pac-10 and 1,300 more participants than last year.
