Accounting career night at WSU Tri-Cities

RICHLAND — Students can learn about careers in accounting and what it takes to succeed in the field during a special event Sept. 30 at WSU Tri-Cities.
 
Accounting Career Night is at 6:30 p.m. in the Consolidated Information Center, upstairs in Room 216, at 2770 University Drive, Richland. The event is co-sponsored by the WSU Tri-Cities College of Business and the students’ Tri-Cities Business Club.
 
Speakers include representatives from the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors, government agencies, and the CPA firms of LeMaster & Daniels, Moss Adams, and Northwest CPA Group. The presentation is followed by an ice cream social provided by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Admission is free and open to the public. High school and community college students exploring their career and education options are encouraged to attend.
