PULLMAN – WSU Press and the Bookie will join the CUB opening celebrations all this week with author presentations and book signings each day from 11:30 – 1:00 at the Bookie’s new location.
Wednesday, Sept.3, will feature “Tracking Ancient Footsteps” co-author Dr. Timothy Kohler, along with honoree Dr. William D. Lipe, one of the most respected scholars in Southwestern archaeology.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, Marc Lindsey, “Copyright Law on Campus” author and WSU’s own copyright specialist, will answer questions on the topic as it specifically relates to faculty and students at higher education institutions.
On Friday, Sept. 5, Washington’s own Rachael Ray—Mary Houser Caditz—will be at the Bookie with delectable samples and free recipe cards from her best-selling book, “Wandering and Feasting.”
Also on Friday, Washington history buffs will appreciate an appearance by Jack Nisbet, the award-winning author of “The Mapmaker’s Eye,” about David Thompson and some of the first contact between Native Americans and Whites on the Columbia Plateau.
