Workshop aids research funding, collaboration

Research collaboration and funding are the goals of a workshop for faculty, staff and graduate students set for 3-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, ETRL 101 on the Pullman campus.

Participants will learn how the Office of Grant and Research Development and the WSU Foundation can help them pursue research funding from agencies and from private sources.
The workshop will bring together participants from diverse disciplines into small focus groups. Groups will meet regularly in order to submit cross-disciplinary funding proposals.
The Center for Environmental Research, Education and Outreach will provide funding for each group to bring in a speaker during 2008-09.
