Jazz Northwest presents summer concert

PULLMAN – Jazz Northwest, the acclaimed WSU faculty ensemble, will present a special noontime concert at the WSU Art Museum on Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
 
The concert is free of charge and the public is invited to enjoy the music and setting.
 
The theme for this concert is “Hello and Goodbye.” The performance will be the first for the newest member of the group, award-winning saxophonist David Hagelganz, and the last for vocalist Jennifer Parker, who wiis leaving for a teaching position at McNally Smith College in Minnesota.
 
Jazz Northwest also includes saxophonist Greg Yasinitsky, trumpeter David Turnbull, bassist, David Snider and percussionist David Jarvis.
 
The program will include jazz originals and unique arrangements of standards by members of the group.
 
This concert is made possible by the WSU School of Music, WSU Art Museum, and VPLAC.
