MFA student candidates host art exhibit

PULLMAN –The WSU Museum of Art in collaboration with the WSU Fine Arts Department, will exhibit the Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition, April 18 – May 10. There will be an opening reception Friday, April 18 at 6 p.m. in the Museum of Art. 

This annual showcase represents the culmination of two or more years work by the Master of Fine Arts graduate candidates. MFA student candidates will present works from a variety of meda including ceramics, crafts, painting, performance, photography, digital video, sculpture and drawing. The exhibit will feature works with a wide range of subject matter, content and style.

This year’s group of candidates includes: Gabriel Brown, Jeneve Parrish, Andrew Peterson, Mary Rothlisberger, Jordan Van Duine, Kristyn Weaver, and Jian Yang.

The Museum of Art is located on Wilson Road across from Martin Stadium in the Fine Arts Center on the WSU Pullman campus. Gallery hours are Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., open until 7 p.m. on Thursday and closed Sunday.
