“Performance agreement” and “capital prioritization” bills that could significantly change preparation of WSU’s budget next year were signed last week by Gov. Christine Gregoire following adjournment of the 2008 Legislature on March 13.
The new laws take effect June 12 and are the most prominent of 34 bills impacting higher education that passed this session.
