Police chief candidateto meet with public

PULLMAN – A public session for students, faculty, staff and community members with Bill Gardner, a candidate for chief of police at WSU, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Room 405 Lighty Student Services Building on the Pullman campus.
 
Gardner is a Pullman native who earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at WSU. He has 14 years of law enforcement experience, serving with the WSU Police Department from 1990-1993 and with the Pullman Police Department from 1993-2004.
 
Since 2005, he has served as an executive associate with Priority Systems, a management consulting firm that works with both private companies and government agencies. Gardner also served as an adjunct faculty member in English on the Wasatch campus of Utah Valley State College in 2006-2007.
