The kick off of Cougar Pride Days

 
The start of Cougar Pride Days has begun with the opening ceremony cancelled due to snow, but projects throughout the community and college are still under way.  Cougar Pride Days is a two and half week event that helps improve and beautify WSU and the surrounding community. 
 
Starting March 26 people of the community will get together in groups, organizations and classes to finish projects set up by Cougar Pride Days.  Numerous awards, such as the golden shovel, take a shower award, heavy duty, most approved and more will be given to groups that make the most progress in their category. 
 
The closing ceremony will be at 12:30 p.m. April 6, located on the Glenn Terrell Mall, but In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Terrell Library.
