‘The Vagina Monologues’ comes to WSU Tri-Cities

RICHLAND – A new student club is bringing “The Vagina Monologues” to the WSU Tri-Cities campus.

The performance is at 7 p.m. Friday, March 28, in the East Building Auditorium, 2710 University Drive, Richland. It is sponsored by the EVE Club, standing for equality, vision and empowerment.

Tickets are $8 for the general public and free to WSU Tri-Cities students. Seating is limited, so tickets must be purchased or received in advance through the WSU Tri-Cities student accounts window at the entrance to the West Building or at 372-7498.

Eve Ensler created “The Vagina Monologues” after interviewing more than 200 women about their experiences with men, women, sex, violence and life — resulting in humorous, sad and empowering vignettes. The March 28 readings will be performed by WSU Tri-Cities students.
