Solstice Quintet presents annual concert at WSU

PULLMAN — A concert featuring the Solstice Wind Quintet will be presented at WSU as part of the School of Music’s Faculty Artist Series. The concert will take place at 8 p.m. March 21 in the Kimbrough Concert Hall.

The Solstice Quintet, in residence at WSU, features flutist Ann Marie Yasinitsky; Shannon Scott, clarinet; Keri McCarthy, oboe; Jennifer Scriggins Brummett, horn; and Ryan Hare, bassoon.

The program will include works by Ligeti, Klughardt, Dahl and Jongen. General admission is $10; $5 for senior citizens 60 and older and non-WSU students; and free for WSU students with ID. A season pass for all eight performances is $60. All proceeds will benefit music scholarships at WSU.
