If you are wondering what all the shouting is about in the middle of campus, don’t worry, it is only senior music major Kaleo Keanu and the rest of Lamba Chi Alpha fraternity collecting donations for the Humane Society.
“For the price of a coffee, you could feed a dog for a week”, said Keanu, while accumulating donations for their fraternity’s philanthropy.

Along with Lambda Chi Alpha members are three Humane Society dogs looking for a new home. The dogs are on display with hopes of finding a good home from anyone willing to love them.
If you missed them today, the group will be back to collect donations 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday this week.   They also are informing people about the first annual Whitman County Humane Society Fur Ball and Yappy Hour fundraiser. The event includes a semiformal Mediterranean dinner, silent and live auction, celebrity servers, and Pullman Mayor Glenn Johnson as master of ceremonies. The event will be held 6-9 p.m. Satruday, Feb. 9, at the Schweitzer Event Center.
