Dining Services accepts until Nov. 16

PULLMAN – Dining services will continue to collect Yoplait lids through Friday, Nov. 16.

Donation containers can be found at Northside Cafe, located at Regents Residence Hall. The program is a part of a joint collection with residence halls.

Thus far Dining Services has collected approximatly 3,610 Yoplait lids for the “Save Lids to Save Lives” campaign. Yoplait donates 10 cents per every lid collected. The national program’s goal is $1.5 million. Money will go toward the Susan G. Komen Foundation which aims at finding a cure for breast cancer.

This is Dining Services 10th year participating in the donation drive.

“We are proud to support Yoplait’s fundraiser,” said Jean Arnhold, office assistant lead with Dining Services.”Cancer has trouched all our lives in on way or another.”
