NWPR hires new sales manager

RICHLAND – David Deeney, recent general manager of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Pasco, has been hired as the local sales manager for Northwest Public Radio and KTNW-TV at WSU. Deeney will be based in the stations’ Richland office.

Deeney’s experience includes radio production, sales and marketing in North Central Idaho as well as hospitality sales and management in the hotel industry over the last 12 years.

“Radio has been a passion of mine since I did radio on-air work as a senior in high school.” Deeney said. “I now have the opportunity of adding public television underwriting to my responsibilities, and I consider this a great privilege to improve the quality of life for our communities by assuring Northwest Public Radio and KTNW’s sustainability over the years to come.”

Northwest Public Radio and KTNW are owned and operated by WSU.
