Fall art exhibit features local photographer

VANCOUVER – Jodi Tripp’s collection of photographs will be displayed in WSU Vancouver’s Engineering Life Sciences building gallery until Dec. 15.

The collection features a series of natural images from the Pacific Northwest and her acclaimed “Barns of Clark County” series.

Tripp’s interest in photography began at a young age, and she has worked as a professional photographer in different settings including events and portraitures. Her work has been received successfully in a variety of photography competitions throughout the Northwest and California, and her images are displayed on the “SayWA” tourism campaign Web site.

Tripp is a past employee of WSU Vancouver, who maintains strong connections to the campus. Currently, Tripp produces and displays her colorful and creative digital art and local landscapes throughout Vancouver, Wash., in local art shows, and is represented by the Aurora Gallery, 1001 Main Street, Vancouver.
