Center for youth workforce open house

VANCOUVER – The Center

 

for Youth Workforce Preparation at WSU Vancouver will hold a special open house for families Oct. 20 from 6:30–8 p.m.,in rooms 129 and 130 of the Administration Building.

 
Programs for teens 13-18 years of age will be highlighted. Displays, student presentations and short videos will showcase the 4-H Teen-Works, Do the Math Engineering Day and PaCE Summer Academy programs.
 
The Center is currently enrolling
students for the 4-H Teen-Works fall term which begins Nov. 6. Students can select an area of interest and attend Career Exploration Tracks held on the WSU Vancouver campus.
 
A track series consists of six sessions and three group meetings called Company Meetings. All tracks meet from 6:30 – 8 p.m. on campus. Enrollment will be conducted during the Family Open House.

Regents start search process for next WSU president

The Board of Regents will begin the search process for WSU’s 12th president this week. Applications for the Presidential Search Advisory Committee are now available.
