The intermittent chirp of ringing phones could be heard throughout Northwest Public Radio studios on the WSU Pullman campus Wednesday as NWPR’s fall pledge drive continued.
 
The fundraiser is expected to raise more than $240,000. It began Oct. 13 and will run through Thursday, Oct. 17.

NWPR is based on the WSU Pullman campus and boasts operation of one of the first radio stations in the country.  NWPR stations offer a variety of programs with the purpose of sharing ideas, encouraging thought, and increasing appreciation of the arts.
