Homecoming events held at WSU

Washington State University will host a series of events during the Homecoming weekend Oct. 5-6.

The football game WSU vs. Arizona State will take place at 1 p.m. Oct 6 at Martin Stadium. Tickets can be purchased by phone at 1-800-GO-COUGS, option 3, or online.

On Friday, Oct. 5 there will be a street fair 11:00 a.m. -1 p.m. on Glenn Terrell Mall. Student groups will have food, games and give-aways.

The annual Homecoming Bonfire with the football team, cheerleaders, Butch and the Cougar Marching Band will take place at 6 p.m. at the Flag Lane Fire Pit, behind Mooberry Track.

Alumni are invited to attend a reception for Life Members and their guests 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Lewis Alumni Centre.

On Saturday, Oct. 6, three hours before kickoff Cougars can enjoy a meal and catch game day spirit in the Hollingbery Fieldhouse, while donors can attend a tailgate event organized by the WSU Foundation on the Museum of Art Terrace.

The College of Business will hold the Alumni Homecoming BBQ and MBA Graduate Welcome, 12:30-3:30 p.m. in the Todd Hall deck on Terrell Mall. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, children 5 and under free.
