A record number of companies will be recruiting future employees at this year’s College of Engineering and Architecture Technical Career Fair at Washington State University, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 3 in the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum.

Representatives from more than 130 high-technology companies will be attending the fair, including many from throughout the Northwest, such as Avista Corporation, The Boeing Company and Microsoft. Companies will also come from as far away as Virginia, California, New York, Texas and Quebec, Canada. This is the 26th year of the CEA career fair.

“Demand for well-qualified students is higher than ever, and employers are clamoring to find highly qualified engineers to solve critical problems in areas such as energy, the environment, sustainability and health,” said Candis Claiborn, dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture.
