Coach gets defibrillator, full recovery expected

EVERETT — WSU Womens Basketball Coach June Daugherty begins life with the defibrillator that doctors installed in her chest Thursday.

The device will monitor her heartbeat and restore it to normal, if necessary. They expect her to be released from the hospital within a couple of days and to recover fully.
