Online course convenient, free

The Military Science Department was first on the WSU Pullman campus to require all faculty and staff to take the online Preventing Sexual Harassment training course
.

Lt. Col.
Jeff Baker, chair of the department, noted that the course was similar to the annual harassment prevention training provided by the U.S. Army.

“This training is preventative and valuable for all of our faculty and staff,” Baker said. “We are all part of the WSU community and we need to do our part. I recommend it.”

So does
Raul Sanchez, director of the Center for Human Rights. The course was added to the center’s website in January.

“The online course is convenient and available at no charge,” Sanchez said. “Everyone should take it, including all employees and students.”
