PULLMAN – A review of drugs used in the treatment of breast cancer will be presented at Washington State University July 21 by a Canadian physician and researcher.

Dr. John R. Mackey will speak on “Breast Cancer Drug Therapy: Progress, Promise & Pitfalls” to students participating in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) at the WSU College of Pharmacy. His presentation will be at 10:10 a.m. in Wegner Hall, Room G-50.

A professor in the Department of Oncology at the University of Alberta, Mackey also is an oncologist at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton and the director of the Cancer International Research Group.
