Parent’s guide eases access to information

University Relations has created a new webpage to help WSU parents navigate through the WSU website more easily.

“We were finding at times it was hard for parents to get exactly where they wanted to go,” said Barbara Petura, associate vice president of University Relations.

The guide, located at www.wsu.edu/current-students/parents.html, provides parents with a compiled list of links to a variety of parent-related information. The site features an A-to-Z index, search engines, financial information, student-services links, and information on the Pullman community and WSU parent events.

Petura encourages staff and faculty to be aware of the new page, so they can refer parents there and better answer their questions. Since the page is in its beginning stages, Petura welcomes any suggestions on how to improve it. Those with ideas can e-mail her at petura@wsu.edu.
