WSU Vancouver to host P.A.C.E. Youth Conference

WSU Vancouver is hosting the P.A.C.E. (Pre-Employment And Career Exploration) Youth Conference from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.

Co-sponsored by the WSU Vancouver Center for Youth Workforce Preparation and the Educational Service District 112 Youth Workforce Programs, conference attendees will have the opportunity to attend sessions, participate in group activities, meet with professionals and take home valuable resources.

Eighteen sessions will be offered in two separate tracks, “Preparing for Summer Employment” and “Exploring Careers,” which include classes like: Be an Inventor; Be Prepared – Life in the Real World; Reverse Engineering; College 101; Forensics at Work; Food Handler’s License; The Art of Interviewing; Law as a Career; and more.

Youth 14-19 years of age are eligible to participate. Cost is $15.00 per teen and covers lunch, conference t-shirt and materials.
