Steam plant cranking to keep everyone warm

WSU’s steam plant was chugging along at sunrise today (Wednesday, Dec. 7) to keep building, employees and students warm. Temperatures dipped into the negative zone last night, hitting -2 degrees Farenheit, according to the Weather Channel.com.

Record low for yesterday was -32 degrees in 1968, and the record high was a balmy 59 degrees in 1980.

High today is suppose to hit 22 degrees with winds from the east at 15 mph, then its down to 15 degrees tonight with 5-10 mph winds.
